First we wanted to apologize that it has taken us so long to write, moving into the new house has been quite the experience. We did want to take an opportunity to thank you for our beautiful pool. We knew from the first meeting with Cody that we were in good hands. We appreciated the way you worked with us on the pool design, from paper to completion, Liquid Blue exhibited the willingness to work within our needs and wants. Each time we had a question or concern, no matter how trivial, Jay was there to explain, consult and reassure. Both Cody and Jay made us feel like our pool was the only one they were working on.
From the pool horror stories of friends we expected nothing but headaches, however, we were pleasantly surprised that Liquid Blue made the whole process quite painless. By reading this letter we are assuming that you are considering the purchase of a swimming pool. We contracted to purchase a large in-ground diving pool through Liquid Blue [Jay Grossman & Cody Lang] in Sept. 2000 and we are extremely pleased with our decision.
We took a lot of time to investigate different pool companies and from the start felt very good about working with Cody & Jay. From our initial meeting, through the design phase, and into construction both Cody & Jay [and their crews] were extremely professional and did exactly what they said they would do. We could not be happier with our pool.
Some of the specific reasons that we contracted with Liquid Blue over other companies are as follows;
- Personality. Cody and Jay are both very professional as well as being very easy to talk to and very
responsive to our questions. Both of them also have a great sense of humor. They are fun to be around
and they will ensure that you are kept advised of the process from start to finish.
- Honesty: Our experience was extremely positive. Cody & Jay made suggestions that improved the
design of our pool, the way it looked in the yard, and at the same time saved us money. At no time did
we ever experience “up-selling” to a more expensive option. We were provided the information and
were left to make the decisions. There were no high pressure sales. This was a distinct difference from
the other companies that we spoke with. On our design, the price from Liquid Blue was less than their
competitors for the same pool design & options.
- Quality of construction: When comparing construction with other large swimming pool companies
there was no doubt that the materials used by Liquid Blue were superior to their competitors. Liquid
Blue uses heavier steel [and more of it] in their construction and the walls are thicker concrete. When
speaking with our neighbors about their pools we firmly believe that we have a superior pool because
of the construction.
- Timeliness: When Cody & Jay committed to a crew being on-site they were there. There was no
guessing, no delays. Our swimming pool was completed in 13 working days from the start of digging.
- Professionalism: In every element of the sales, design, and construction process it is obvious that both
Cody & Jay take extreme pride in their work and their commitment to their customers. Although we
legally had a contract we felt that their word and a handshake would have been more than enough.
- After Sales Support: One of our primary concerns was the ability to reach Jay & Cody after our pool
was completed [some neighbors with other pool companies have had problems]. Both Jay & Cody are
extremely responsive. We have had no problems whatsoever. Jay & Cody continue to contact us to
make sure that all is well and to check if we have any questions.
- Knowledge: Both Jay & Cody are very knowledgeable. They are able to answer questions easily and
thoroughly in terms that make sense.
In summary, as prospective swimming pool purchasers, you will not find any swimming pool contractors
that are more knowledgeable, more professional, or friendlier than Cody & Jay. You will not regret your
decision to contract your swimming pool to be built by Liquid Blue [Cody & Jay]. lfyou wish to speak to

Dear Jay and Cody,
I have and will continue to give Liquid Blue my highest recommendation. I am very satisfied with the pool and the process from Liquid Blue. Here are some of the reasons:
- Nice design — Cody truly listened to desires and is reflected in the design.
- Competitive price — With high-end components standard, few adders were required.
- Unbelievable schedule — 3 weeks from drawing lines in the backyard with spray paint to filling with water. The crews worked Monday-Saturday every week, less a rain day.
- High quality, attention to detail — The attention to details is evident by watching the water flow from the hot tub to the pool. The water is as smooth as glass as it flows over the waterfall. Very few punch-list items were generated from the construction. Everything was done right the first time.
- Prompt service Corrective action for concerns and punch-lists items were address the same day.
- Low maintenance — All I need to do to my pool is add chlorine tablets once a week. A high flow pump, DIE filter, and amazing pool cleaner do all the work. My pool is clean, the water crystal clear.
